Hawksworth have partnered with a major Financial, to on-board
**an Enterprise Data Product Owner.** This is a
**permanent role** and will be
**based in Sydney.**
**You will work 1 day in the office and 4 days from home. You must be based in Sydney.**
The primary purpose of this role is to manage and deliver on enterprise data products that support our clients' business data needs across Customer and other divisions. Also support data and analytics teams in a large and complex
environment, through utilisation of data design best practices in line with data management and data governance standards, resulting in the delivery of high-quality data product solutions.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Be responsible for the full life cycle of data initiatives from inception through to
development, and support, for work produced by data delivery squad.
- Engage and collaborate with Allianz business stakeholders across
divisions to understand data related requirements and oversee the design and
implementation of data products to meet enterprise, divisional and business project specific needs.
- Drive outcomes on behalf of the business, by acting as an internal business consultant in order to improve business outcomes and assist in making judgements and managing the implementation process through to completion.
- Translate business use cases into data product deliverables in partnership with process owner, data stewards, data architects and data engineers.
- Support the delivery of data products through ensuring that data assets are
maintained including data models, data mappings, standards and frameworks. Also act as SME on the data products.
- Identify and analyse emerging trends in data related technology and provide inputs and consultation for relative data domain data owners.
- Support data citizens transitioning to recent data platforms, from on premise to the cloud by identifying knowledge gaps, training to bridge the gaps and detail roadmaps for
transition.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Significant experience in leading the delivery of data products for Technical, Finance and other data domains
- Demonstrated knowledge of event driven workflows, data architecture for performance and cost efficiencies.
- Experience in working with data engineers and acting as a data SME of data technology professionals.
- Extensive experience in delivering business use case relating to Business Intelligence, Data warehouse, Data Analytics,
- Knowledge of Industry trends and data products design standards and best practices in data technology, data platform
including but not limited to artificial intelligence, data process automation and big data.
- Experience with industry leading data management tools including Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data
Quality, Master/Reference Data.
