Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Wirraka Maya Health Service Aboriginal Corporation in South Hedland. As a vital member of our Clinic department, you will play a key role in providing high-quality healthcare services to the local community, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and culturally sensitive care.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients within the clinic setting.
* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
* Participate in health promotion and education activities for patients and their families.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
* Adhere to relevant clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical practices and service delivery within the Organisation.
* Provide direct nursing care, including wound dressing, vaccinations, and health assessments.
* Support doctors and other healthcare professionals during medical examinations and procedures.
* Collaborate with community members to promote culturally sensitive healthcare practices.
Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse (RN) Qualification
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
* Postgraduate Qualification in Nursing Specialty (e.g., Child Health, Sexual Health)
* Experience working with electronic medical record systems
* Experience in general practice nursing
* Experience administering medications and vaccinations
* Time management and prioritisation skills
* Attention to detail
* Strong clinical nursing skills
