The Role
Norwest Private Hospital is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) for the Emergency Department. The department sees over 14,000 adult and paediatric presentations per year, with 41% of these converting to hospital admissions. We participate in the NSW Ambulance matrix system. As NUM, you will lead a dedicated ED team and provide patient-centred care to optimise outcomes and experiences.

Recent ED management experience is preferable; you will be part of a supportive and progressive hospital management team.

Capability and Qualifications
Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of clinical care experience in a relevant specialty
Desirable Qualifications
Postgraduate qualification in Leadership and Management or relevant clinical specialty
Experience managing a department (including acting or deputising into Manager role)
Experience in the private healthcare sector
