Permanent / Full Time.About the roleThe successful candidate will undertake a variety of work, including:Providing advice on indemnity with respect to claims on professional indemnity policies of insurance in relation to personal injuries.Providing advice on indemnity with respect to occupational regulation matters and investigations (including Coronial inquests and investigations) of professionals (including allied health professionals).
Acting as defence counsel in relation to personal injury claims, occupational regulation and investigations for professionals (including allied health professionals).
The successful candidate will work alongside our Brisbane professional indemnity/financial lines team, with an opportunity to work with industry-leading interstate practitioners recognised as experts in their respective fields.Qualifications2+ years' PQE with litigation experience.A desire to be an integral member of a strong and cohesive team.Strong attention to detail.Practical and client-focused problem solving and research skills.Ability to manage client expectations and run matters autonomously.Interested in establishing a long-term successful career with Colin Biggers & Paisley.Commercial acumen.A strong, plain language communication style.Join the teamOur culture focuses on excellence without losing sight of work-life balance.
