What You’ll Be Doing:
As HR Manager, you’ll lead the people function across a group of dynamic, purpose-led organisations. Key areas of responsibility include:
Generalist HR Support: Provide practical HR guidance and support across recruitment, onboarding, development, and exit processes.
HR Strategy & Systems: Develop and implement organisation wide HR frameworks that align with business goals.
Workforce Advice: Assist managers with workforce planning, employee relations, and day-to-day people management.
Industrial Relations & Compliance: Navigate IR matters, manage performance issues and grievances, and ensure alignment with employment law and policy.
Payroll Oversight: Oversee payroll operations and reporting in collaboration with Finance.
Performance & Culture: Lead our performance appraisal process and help shape a positive, values-aligned workplace culture.
Reporting & Insight: Provide regular HR reports and insights to senior leadership, focusing on metrics, compliance, and risk.
What You’ll Bring:
* HR generalist experience, ideally across multiple teams or sites.
* A working knowledge of employment law, Fair Work requirements, and modern awards.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a practical, solutions focused mindset.
* Experience in the NFP, training, or community services sectors (highly regarded but not essential).
* A collaborative, professional approach with the ability to support and influence at all levels.
