Process and Systems Specialist Job Description
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating systems support materials that align with employee capability development initiatives. This includes new starter inductions and working closely with stakeholders to provide technical support.
You will act as the subject matter expert for systems training, mentoring and leading Super Users to ensure effective knowledge transfer and system adoption. Additionally, you will provide technical support for WesTrac's learning management system, including designing, developing, implementing, delivering, and maintaining content, assets, and other resources used for instructional functions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develops, manages, and maintains LMS governance, providing advice and guidance to key stakeholders on related issues like business rules, data maintenance, system requirements, and enhancements.
* Provides technical support to key stakeholders, including creating and configuring learning activities, managing enrollments, and producing reports in the LMS.
* Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves online course content issues (SCORM).
* Develops and maintains LMS and other relevant systems manuals, guides, templates, standards that are required for training materials and other resources.
* Provides consultancy and advice services to key stakeholders wanting to use relevant L&D training systems such as SAP, Power BI, and LMS to support organizational learning and develop their technical knowledge and skills in this space.
* Works with the P&C Systems team and LMS vendor to schedule and roll out system updates.
* Acts as a leader, mentor, and change agent to grow technology-enabled learning management.
* Generates and interprets system reports, generalizes findings, and makes recommendations for process and system utilization improvements.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification/s in a systems-related field, human resource management, or related equivalent experience;
* Experience in the use, configuration, and administration of an online learning management system;
* Technical knowledge and experience in administering an LMS;
* Ability to work both collaboratively as part of a supportive team as well as independently;
* IT literate including technical and troubleshooting skills with IT systems, e.g., MS Office, learning management systems;
* Strong interpersonal and written communication skills – suitable for all stakeholder levels internally and externally;
* Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to operate under limited supervision;
* Outstanding customer service skills;
* Experience working with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau;
* Solutions-focused – you must be a natural problem solver with strong analytical abilities;
