**Job description**:
The Customer Sales Consultant is primarily a sales and service role operating in a face-to-face customer service environment. Our client is looking for someone with expectational customer service and sales skills who has a passion for creating sales opportunities and achieving results.
**Responsibilities are, but not limited to**:
- Increase sales penetration through quality conversations with an outcome that meets the members needs and following up existing/created leads
- Ensuring quality service is provided and effective relationships are always maintained with clients, external and internal customers and providers
- Participate in promotional activities and marketing campaigns in local shopping centres, community events and open days
- Engages with current members and potential members in a positive way to ensure a quality conversation with an outcome that meets the members needs
- Interest and willingness to help our members by providing accurate & well-informed advice
- Win-back new members and reduce attrition rates
- Plan and execute customer service follow up
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to other team and operational planning-based activities
- Continuous self-development and role modelling behaviours
**You will have**:
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service environment in an organisation, within a sales or retail industry.
- Proven business development results focus with the ability to plan, execute and ultimately meet and exceed sales targets and objectives
- Well-developed organisational, written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to display initiative
- Speaks confidently and concisely
- Empathetic to customer needs and holds genuine concern for others
