Role Location: Toowoomba/Townsville/Mackay, Queensland – Flexible re working location
Your Impact
* Share your skills and experiences with centre teams to support teaching and learning for all children, including those with additional needs, in a manner that builds capability within the centres.
* Provide on-demand, high-quality, consistent, and effective advice and coaching support for teaching and learning for all children.
* Work directly with selected centres to deliver their Quality Improvement Plan actions, coaching and modelling to enhance sustainable teaching and learning capabilities.
* Support the implementation and improvement of frameworks such as ERS, NQS, EYLF, focusing on high-priority centres identified by the State Manager.
* Maintain current knowledge of ERS, NQF, NQS, EYLF, and other relevant early childhood education practices.
* Collaborate with the broader Teaching and Learning team to develop and implement practice uplift initiatives.
* Partner with cross-functional teams to co-design and monitor continuous improvement initiatives.
* Assist with the development and delivery of national initiatives and professional development to improve quality outcomes.
* Coordinate with Practice team members for inquiries requiring additional support and manage these until resolved.
* Stay informed about Child Protection Law and respond proactively to child protection matters.
* Build relationships with Operations to support safety outcomes across the region and state.
You'll Bring To The Table
* Ideally, a 4-year Early Childhood qualification from a recognised university.
* Extensive recent practice-based experience in early childhood teaching (birth to 8 years).
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, NQS, and other state-based guidelines.
* Understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
* Excellent communication, organisational, evaluation, and team leadership skills.
