About the Role
Based in our modern Fremantle office, the Marketing Development Coordinator is a new role that will support business growth by creating and implementing marketing strategies, researching new markets, and promoting products/services. This role will focus on expanding customer bases and identifying opportunities through campaigns, data analysis, and stakeholder communication. You will execute digital and traditional marketing, manage promotional materials, track results, and work to build connections within specific territories or industries, bridging existing business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and deliver marketing plans that support IMS's growth strategy in Australia and selected international markets
· Manage day-to-day marketing activity, including website updates, social media, email campaigns, and case studies
· Coordinate IMS's presence at trade shows and industry events (stands, collateral, follow-up campaigns)
· Maintain and refine brand consistency across all touchpoints (presentations, proposals, capability statements, merchandise, digital channels)
· Lead the selection, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of a simple, effective CRM
· Use CRM and other basic analytics to provide clear, actionable reports on marketing activity, lead sources, and engagement
· Liaise with external designer, web developer, and other suppliers as needed
· Provide general support to the commercial team to ensure a smooth end-to-end client experience
· Collect and analyse data on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity to find new opportunities.
· Assist with quoting and tendering
About You
We're seeking a proactive, commercially minded marketer who enjoys variety and is comfortable working in a small, busy team.
Qualifications & Experience
· Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or a related discipline
· to 8 years' experience in a marketing role (B2B or professional services experience highly regarded)
· Demonstrated experience planning and executing integrated campaigns (
· Strong writing skills, with the ability to turn technical or operational content into clear, engaging stories
· Experience managing websites and digital channels (e.g. basic CMS, LinkedIn, email platforms)
· Competent with design and content tools
· Experience implementing or significantly improving a CRM or marketing database (does not need to be a large enterprise system)
· Manage our social media channels, and other digital platforms. Oversee SEO/SEM strategies, supplier briefings, implementation, and Google Analytics reporting and monitoring.
· Maritime, industrial, logistics, or infrastructure sector experience is desirable but not essential
