Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Automation Specialist to join our team. As an Advanced Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced automation systems in various industries.
The successful candidate will have strong experience from water, mining, and gas infrastructure projects, as well as tertiary qualifications in Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
They will also have demonstrated experience delivering process automation systems for mining, water, and gas infrastructure projects, with exceptional design and implementation skills for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Remote Terminal Units (RTUs).
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, Java, VB, and VBS, and application of industrial internet/Industry 4.0 to leverage the power of smart machines and real-time analytics.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Design and implement advanced automation systems in various industries.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project outcomes.
* Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
* Strong experience from water, mining, and gas infrastructure projects.
* Demonstrated experience delivering process automation systems for mining, water, and gas infrastructure projects.
* Exceptional design and implementation skills for PLCs and RTUs.
