Your Opportunity
- Providing support to the Intercompany and Inventory Financial Accountants
- Preparing invoices for intra-group inventory purchases/sales (Commercial Invoices)
- Reconciling goods in and stock transfers for company-owned stores and franchise stores
- Preparing and posting journal entries to record stocktake results and shrinkage provisions
- Preparing and posting journal entries to record branch write-offs and other stock corrections
- Running reports from the POS system for month end journals
- Preparing and posting journal entries to record cost of goods sold entries
- Assisting with intercompany recharge entries, including running general ledger reports and preparing postings
- Assisting with reconciliations and analysis of intercompany accounts
- Reconciling Balance Sheet accounts and resolving variances in a timely manner
- Assisting with downloading GST/VAT support for freight shipments
- Assisting with month end and year-end financial reporting
- Providing audit support in preparation for, and during, external audits
- Assisting with ad-hoc financial investigation and analysis as required
- Adherence to month end and other regulatory timelines
- Regularly liaising with key stakeholders in Banking and Accounts Payable teams globally
We Are Looking For The Below Skillset And Experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Proficient in managing large data sets
- Experience with SmartViews or Oracle Fusion favourable but not essential
- Ability to manage deadlines
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Solid attention to detail
- Accounting Degree qualified. Studying towards CPA or CA qualification an advantage.
- Can demonstrate in-depth knowledge of accounting principles
