MIL is the largest private irrigation water delivery company in Australia, formed as an unlisted public company in March 1995 when the NSW Government privatised its Murray Irrigation area and districts. The company's irrigators are also shareholders and include 2,100 landholdings across 724,000 hectares in the Southern Riverina.
MIL is located in southern NSW and uses approximately 2,755km of gravity-fed earthen channels to deliver a five-year average of 728GL to their landholders, through efficient management of their NSW Murray Regulated River Water Access Licences (WALs). Our head office is in Deniliquin with branch offices in Finley and Wakool. Farm businesses in the area predominately include rice, cereals, wheat, canola, annual pasture, dairy, wool, beef and lamb, with an average gross value agriculture production of $500 million.

About the role
As a Customer Engagement Officer, you'll play a key role in building strong customer relationships and driving proactive engagement with customers.
This role will require you to manage complex customer enquiries while providing excellent service in line with the company's systems.
Our Customer Operations team is focused on enabling an engaging and seamless customer experience and provides applicants an opportunity to be part of an environment that is fast paced, varied, and focused on achieving outcomes for customers within a dynamic and vibrant team.
The role involves a mix of office and field based tasks.
About you
You will need to be self-driven and outcome focused with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and peers.
You will possess excellent problem-solving skills, enjoy a challenge and thrive in a dynamic environment. You will seek continuous improvement to service delivery and be an effective communicator whose engagement activities will lead to high levels of customer satisfaction with Murray Irrigation.
Experience in sales, engagement, client management or agribusiness will be beneficial.
