Arrival Hall is seeking a full time Retail Sales Manager to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to maximise sales, revenue, and team performance across our showroom and digital channels. You will take the lead on the showroom floor, strategically contribute to the growth of our business (in-store and online) and train & manage the retail team.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who loves sales, thrives in a premium retail environment and has the desire to help grow an omni-channel brand. Candidates must have current Australian work rights at the time of application.
The main job roles focus on the following areas:
1. Sales & Growth Strategy
2. Act as the lead salesperson on the showroom floor, setting the benchmark for exceptional service and sales performance
3. Prepare sales insights and collaborate closely with directors to develop and execute growth strategies
4. Identify and activate new revenue opportunities, including pop-ups, trade programs, and digital initiatives
5. Team Leadership & Product Expertise
6. Recruit, train, and motivate the sales team
7. Curate and lead ongoing product knowledge training, ensuring the team can confidently assist customers in selecting and purchasing our furniture and lighting collections
8. Manage staff rosters in line with budgets and conduct regular coaching and performance reviews
9. Customer & Relationship Management
10. Maintain high level of customer satisfaction and cultivate ongoing relationships including VIP customer interactions
11. Omni-channel Oversight
12. Assist Directors in managing the online store, identifying website improvements and opportunities for digital growth
13. Ensure consistent brand messaging and customer experience across the physical showroom and digital platforms
14. Work closely with Marketing to ensure in-store energy and expertise translate into online success
Job Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years retail experience, ideally within premium, design-led industries
* Furniture or home décor retail experience is preferred but not essential
* Flexibility to work weekends and peak retail periods as required
* Minimum 2 years experience leading and managing a retail team
