Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a seasoned Sales & Account Manager to develop and strengthen key customer relationships in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
This unique position blends account management and sales of our transport services in the central corridor (Adelaide to Darwin and vice versa). The successful candidate will focus on long-term growth and retention.
About the Role:
The role requires developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and enhance visibility of operational performance.
* Maintain a focus on retaining current portfolio revenue.
* Develop, implement and review customer(s) growth and sales strategy.
* Actively identify key customer(s) strategic imperatives and where / how we can unlock and position for new business development opportunities.
* Establish pathways for high potential customers and actively seek tender opportunities in the central corridor.
* Establish and manage relationships with key internal departments to ensure cost efficiency, safety, and timeliness to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with the commercial team to review customer profitability and to ensure revenue capture is complete and accurate.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Business or Logistics; or extensive industry experience.
* 10+ years relevant logistics experience, with a proven track record of Sales Management and/or Account Management.
* Professional composure and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
* Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
* Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of data analytics and statistics.
* Ability to travel when required.
