I am seeking an experienced Sales Manager or Business Development Manager to join a fantastic team within the hotel space. You will be responsible for generating and increasing sales revenue for the property by developing a portfolio of key accounts in the local area. This is both an in-house and on-the-raod Business Development Position.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Contribute to the development of the Business Plan with the Franchise Manager and Franchise Relationship Manager.
- Prepare clear, logical presentations appropriate to target audience and utilising appropriate information technology and other aids.
- Review all activities and incorporate results into future sales planning.
- Identify target accounts in the local area to drive growth and sales.
- Research target and key accounts businesses and accommodation requirements, including using appropriate research tools.
- Follow up on all enquiries and daily sales leads.
- Build relationships with target and key accounts through effective interpersonal communication.

**Who You Are**:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales or account management position in a business-to-business environment.
- Experience in the hospitality, travel or tourism industries would be an advantage.
- Passion for sales
- Team-oriented approach to working with others.
- Friendly and approachable manner.
