About the Roles Currently, there are 15+ opportunities to join the team, with recruitment starting now and full team establishment by early 2025. Positions available for experienced wind technicians and local A-Grade Electricians/Mechanically qualified candidates seeking industry entry. Reporting to Lead Technicians, you will be part of a core service team ensuring safe, high-standard operations and maintenance with minimal downtime. Responsibilities include commissioning, fault clearance, and turbine maintenance. Roles are based full-time on-site at MacIntyre Wind Farm, near Warwick, QLD. Responsibilities Analyze defects via phone contact with the service coordinator Perform autonomous repairs, troubleshooting, and fault-finding on turbines Collaborate with Lead Technicians on complex repairs Coordinate with subcontractors for planned maintenance and inspections Collect data and perform tests Complete reports and checklists for the Local Operation Manager Inform customers of turbine works Repair or replace main components Manage spare parts inventory and materials onsite Monitor service reports and manage service processes for accurate expense booking Ensure high-quality, timely task completion Perform tasks cost-effectively Manage materials, tools, and property responsibly Follow manuals, regulations, and safety guidelines Maintain safety instructions and work safety standards Skills & Experience Trade qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines Experience in hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical environments Ability to pass medicals, climb towers, and work at heights Fluent English skills (reading, writing, speaking) Teamwork, responsibility, and collaborative attitude Problem-solving skills (strategic and analytical) Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP, in-house systems) Willingness to undergo training and development Benefits Work with a global wind turbine manufacturer Long-term career growth with training and development Competitive compensation package Industry-specific training and qualifications How to Apply If interested, please submit your updated CV.
