We are seeking a Training and Documentation Assistant - AMO to join our team in West Perth, WA, either remotely or in-office. The successful candidate will support the Maintenance Manager (Part 145) and Safety and Quality Manager by developing, distributing, and improving technical training materials to ensure compliance and support maintenance activities.
Responsibilities Support the development and implementation of training materials with AMO management. Collaborate with technical admin staff to align training syllabi with AMO technical course requirements. Maintain records and registration of training in the system. Familiarize with general AMO procedures and documentation to support training implementation, including: AMO Category A Authorization Specific Task Training B Level Exclusion Removal Core Technical Skills (troubleshooting, software updates, hoist hook removal/installation) Apprentice Training Program Human Factors and Human Performance Limitations Support technical training delivery across the AMO workforce, coordinating with the AMO Technical Supervisor. Manage training records and certificates to support maintenance authorization and competence assessments. Liaise with third-party training providers for quality and compliance. Coordinate training for apprentices and technical staff. Organize type-specific aircraft training for Engineers. Utilize Training Development systems effectively. Leverage knowledge of AMO policies, practices, and legislation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access). Demonstrate analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Support and work independently with minimal supervision. Show leadership qualities and stakeholder engagement skills. Manage time effectively and demonstrate problem-solving abilities.
