Kickstart a Work Health & Safety career with this outstanding Traineeship with the South Burnett Regional Council.
The Nanango based Traineeship will be full-time for 12 months commencing Monday 2nd February, 2026 and will include the completion of a Cert III in Work Health & Safety.

The Duties:
Reporting to the Safety Advisor, the Trainee will perform a diverse range of duties which will include:
 * Assist with day-to-day safety tasks and activities.
 * Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients.
 * Complete Cert III in Work Health & Safety.
 * Acquire practical on-the-job safety and administration experience.
 * Maintain a record of training achieved.
 * Maintain a safe, clean and tidy workplace.
 * Complete other reasonable activities and directions as needed.
The Requirements:
 * Minimum successful completion of year 10.
 * General Safety Induction for Construction Worker Certificate (White Card) or the ability to quickly acquire.
 * A commitment to learn new skills and complete formal qualifications.
 * Sound comprehension and numeracy skills.
 * The ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision as required.
 * Sound communication skills
 * Proven team player qualities.
 * A minimum current "C" class driver licence.
 * A commitment to safety in the workplace
