About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Environment, Health and Safety Manager. This role will involve strategically diagnosing health, safety and wellbeing challenges, designing and implementing solutions based on best practice and risk-based approaches.
This is a hybrid position based in Melbourne, with opportunities for flexible working arrangements. Our team provides consulting services to clients across Oceania, helping them navigate complex operational and regulatory environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing engagements involving physical and psychosocial risk management, strategy, audit and analytical frameworks, culture change and leadership. You will also foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, applying technical expertise to direct project teams on delivery of EHS services.
Responsibilities:
* Manage various client engagements to identify and address health, safety and wellbeing challenges.
* Foster a collaborative team environment, applying technical expertise to direct project teams.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, communicating relevant insights to clients.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum five years of technical EHS experience, with a strong grounding in risk management fundamentals and WHS legislation.
* Proven project management experience in dynamic environments, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to coach talent, develop internal and external relationships, and travel intra and interstate as required.
