Based in Sorrento on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, the Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club (SSCBC) is home to Australia's largest Couta Boat fleet.
We're on the lookout for a Pastry Chef to join our team at SSCBC, helping us create great cakes, baked goods and desserts club

About the Role
This is a hands-on, full-time role where you'll be responsible for producing our core range of cakes and sweet treats, while also having the chance to bring new ideas to the table.
What you'll be doing:
* Baking and decorating cakes, slices and pastries
* Preparing dessert items for daily service across sailing club
* Contributing ideas for new desserts, flavours and seasonal specials
* Maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and presentation
* Keeping your workspace clean, organised and food-safe
* Working closely with the head chef in a supportive, collaborative way
What We're Looking For
* Experience as a pastry chef, baker or dessert cook
* A genuine love of baking and creating great desserts
* Someone organised, reliable and proud of their work
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
* Comfortable working independently but happy being part of a team
