Overview
SMYL Community Services is a not-for-profit community-based organisation seeking applications from experienced trainers for the delivery of the SEE Program. A position exists in Kalgoorlie for an experienced trainer and assessor delivering a range of training which may include Business and Community Services. The successful applicant will be delivering Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills.
Responsibilities
Deliver a range of training programs as part of the SEE Program, with emphasis on Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills. Develop, design and implement individual learning programs and assessment strategies and materials, where applicable.
Qualifications and experience
- Essential – Applicants must possess, or be willing to possess: a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment including TAELLN114 & TAEDES502 units.
- Highly desirable – Applicants should also possess, or be willing to gain: a Certificate in Community Services and/or Business, at least to Level II.
- A recognised undergraduate degree of at least 3 years duration.
- Current working knowledge of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015.
- Proven ability to develop, design and implement individual learning programs and assessment strategies and materials.
- Highly developed analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Current Working with Children check, National Police Clearance and driver’s licence.
