The Company
ACCIONA delivers major civil, water, rail and transport projects across Australia. Our teams manage technically complex procurement that supports project delivery from tender through to execution. This role supports large infrastructure packages that require strategic sourcing, strong supplier engagement and commercial alignment. You will work with multidisciplinary teams who manage complexity and drive high performance across the supply chain. Key Responsibilities
* Duties may involve the use of hand and power tools, plumb bobs, levels, wedges, dogs, and/or turnbuckles.
* Competently using electrical powered tools, hand tools and other equipment to complete maintenance and construction projects.
Required Skills and Competencies
* This role would suit a school leaver or someone with aspiration to complete an apprenticeship.
* The ability to comply with responsibilities relating to the terms of the Training Contract as an Apprentice (training attendance and attainment of competencies).
* Working towards a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade highly desirable but not essential.
* Ability to work in confined spaces.
* Good quality communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to undertake Construction Induction Training (CIT/'White Card') at the request and expense of Acciona.
* Possess or be in the process of obtaining a Driver Licence.
Desired Skills and Experience
* 1st year apprentice boilermaker, no experience required, global organisation, career development, inclusive environment.
