Mobile Plant Mechanic - Key Roles and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of Western Power's mobile plant equipment. This will involve routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy vehicle road transport and plant equipment.
* Repair, strip, rebuild, and perform major overhauls on mobile plant equipment, adhering to Australian Standards and manufacturer guidelines.
* Conduct daily inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
Essential Qualifications
* A valid trade qualification (AQF3) in heavy duty mechanical applications.
* Demonstrated industry experience as a heavy vehicle/mobile plant mechanic.
* Proven skills in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and low-voltage electrical systems.
* Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team.
* A valid WA 'C' class driver's licence.
