Project Engineer
As a Project Engineer, you will provide support to the Project and Contract Managers for coordinating the development and delivery of acquisition and recurring services projects. You will act as the interface between engineering representatives of the customer and CAE's engineering teams and subcontractors, including planning, controlling and reporting on technical project activities and the status of deliverable artefacts.
Responsibilities
* Overall accountability for the design integrity of projects.
* Ensure engineering and QA processes and policies are adhered to.
* Provide support to testing and specialty engineering.
* Own the responsibility of maintaining the customer's level of technical confidence in the project.
Minimum Qualifications
* Strong experience within the engineering space, ideally mixed with project management.
* Background in simulation technology.
* Proven ability to think critically and influence stakeholders.
* Experience in software or hardware engineering.
* Ability to work in the Brisbane Office and travel to RAAF Base Amberley as required – role operates as a hybrid (3 days in office/site and 2 days of flexibility).
* Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance – must be an Australian Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
* Strong background in Systems, Software or Hardware Engineering.
* Experience within the Defence industry.
