They are a values-led organisation that's growing rapidly, and they are looking for strategic and people-first leader to join their team as a Group HR & Safety Manager. The Role
As Group HR & Safety Manager, you'll be a key member of the Executive Team, reporting directly to the CEO. You'll lead a capable HR and Safety team, oversee systems and policies across the organisation, and deliver strategic workforce planning and WHS risk management. You'll work in partnership with operational leaders to develop and implement a high-impact HR & Safety Strategy, aligning closely with the broader organisational goals.
About you
You're a resilient and values-driven leader who thrives on balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You're calm under pressure, practical in your approach, and genuinely care about building inclusive and safe workplaces.
You'll bring
* Relevant degree or equivalent experience in HR, WHS or related disciplines
* Proven experience leading HR and/or Safety teams, with expertise across IR, workforce planning, injury management and WHS compliance
* Confidence in guiding leaders and influencing organisational culture
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset and the resilience to navigate change and challenges with strength and empathy
* Strong project and time management skills
Key Responsibilities
* Lead HR, WHS and injury management systems and compliance
* Develop and deliver strategic people and safety plans
* Oversee performance management, workforce planning, recruitment and training
* Provide trusted advice to managers across the business
* Promote continuous improvement and a positive safety culture
* Manage stakeholder relationships, from internal leaders to regulators and host employers
