Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 1 - ESMHS
Care for patients undergoing Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) as a Clinical Nurse Consultant with South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and deliver high-quality person-centred care in accordance with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses.
* Develop and implement clinical management plans to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues.
* Exercise extended autonomy of decision making while working as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
* Facilitate consumer and carer education and staff development as required.
* Lead and collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.
Requirements:
* Current National Nurse Registration with AHPRA to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with a minimum of five years full-time equivalent post-registration experience and approved post-registration nursing qualification relevant to the field.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues and problem-solve through the development and use of clinical management plans.
* Demonstrated effective leadership skills, including communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in relation to managing responsibilities.
* Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and ongoing clinical and professional learning.
* Commitment to consumer consultation and participation in service planning and delivery, policy development and implementation, priority setting, and service evaluation and quality activities.
