About The Team

As part of the Allied Health Service, the QCH Physiotherapy Department is a tertiary paediatric service providing high‐level care, based on evidence‐based practice and international standards. Advanced clinicians are available in all physiotherapy teams, and supervision and governance are underpinned by the National Safety and Quality Healthcare Standards. Subspecialty teams provide patient‐centred management tailored to the child and family's unique needs that can be delivered in outpatient, day patient, inpatient, outreach and telehealth settings.

About The Role

The position of Physio Clinical Leader Oncology/ Neurosciences/ Specialties will:

* Deliver advanced‐level physiotherapy clinical and consultancy services within the oncology, neurosciences and specialties streams of the Queensland Children's Hospital and Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
* Provide clinical leadership and oversight of the physiotherapy oncology, specialties and neuroscience streams to coordinate service delivery and develop and maintain clinical excellence and high standards of care.
* Maintain a significant clinical caseload of inpatients and outpatients with predominantly complex paediatric conditions presenting to the oncology, neurosciences and specialties care environments.
