THE ROLE
Reporting to the Wellness & Hygiene Manager, the role of the Housekeeper (Wellness & Hygiene) is a full-time position located in Brisbane. You will be responsible for the day-to-day presentation and overall aesthetic appearance of our beautiful Scape assets in Brisbane; key responsibilities are as followed:
Daily cleaning of public areas including using a carpet cleaning machine and floor scrubbing machine in common rooms, lounges, theatre, outdoor terraces, gym and laundry
Being fully aware with health and safety obligations
Hours of work will generally be Mon – Fri starting between 6am and 8am, with some occasional weekend work as required
Weekly and monthly cleaning of student rooms
Help prepare our buildings for open houses and tours
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Are you passionate about creating amazing experiences? Do you love working in a fun and vibrant environment? We want some who:
Has an eye for detail
Can prioritize tasks and time management skills
Works well independently and on a team
Ability to operate cleaning equipment
Being fully aware with health and safety obligations
Ability to work with and relate to young adults while also maintaining professional and cultural sensitivity and boundaries
Has 1-2 years cleaning experience in hotels or commercial spaces
Please note: The successful candidate must be willing to undertake a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
