About the team Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) partners with major corporate, government and institutional clients to deliver capital raising, transactional and risk management solutions. Our Non-Financial Risk team plays a critical role in supporting IB&M to effectively manage financial crime risks, including money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions, bribery and corruption, and tax evasion, while maintaining strong customer and regulatory outcomes. About the role As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering regulatory and compliance initiatives within our Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) business. Working closely with stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Technology and the business, you’ll use your problem-solving, analysis and communication skills to improve processes, translate regulatory requirements, and support the delivery of meaningful change. This is a high-impact role where your experience and fresh perspective will help us meet our regulatory obligations and strengthen how we manage risk, all while contributing to a collaborative, purpose-driven team. On any given day you will Lead end-to-end business analysis for complex compliance and risk-related projects Translate regulatory needs into user stories, functional specs and delivery artefacts Facilitate workshops and working groups to drive alignment and shared outcomes Map processes, conduct gap analysis, and recommend improvements Ensure requirements are tracked through to delivery and testing Support governance, stakeholder reporting and change readiness activities We’re looking for people who Have been on a career break for two years or more (essential) Hold permanent Australian working rights Bring 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with at least 12 months at a senior level Have experience working on regulatory, risk or compliance initiatives (preferred but not essential) Can confidently engage stakeholders and communicate insights clearly Are familiar with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and data tools (preferred) Ready to make your comeback?
