The Process Engineering Manager is responsible for professionalising their field of reference (defining and deploying processes, providing support to employees, capitalising on knowledge) under the supervision of the Industrial Centre of Competence Industrial Director, and for providing real-time support to the Autonomous Production and/or Repair Units (APRUs) to ensure their autonomy.
You are always aiming for optimal achievement of time, cost and quality, business continuity and customer satisfaction. You are actively involved in continuous improvement. In addition, you are the Functional Manager of the staff within your area of responsibility.

YOUR ROLE
As a Process Engineering Manager, you are accountable to:
* Manage and develop the dedicated teams (skills, organisation) and the resources associated with their activities (industrialisation and/or methods and/or product support)
* Develop the ability to mobilise or actively participate in a peer network in their specialty or a related field
* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, in particular by establishing processes to ensure product quality
* Implement and coordinate standardisation of practices in order to increase the autonomy of the APRUs
* Define and develop the industrial skills needed to sustain performance in the short, medium and long term, and develop versatility
* Manage workload/capacity activities within their area of expertise
* Ensure that industrial requirements are reflected in the product policy
* Ensure that the objective costs of future products are defined at the bid stage
* Implement industrial actions for adhering to the Projected Production Costs (PPCs), in collaboration with the engineering teams
* Identify, in conjunction with the purchasing department and others, the competencies of potential suppliers and assist in identifying, choosing, qualifying and monitoring suppliers (e.g., via a supplier panel)
* Define the industrial plan for all of the entity’s products/services, identifying the facilities, tools, test equipment and industrial assets needed to ensure stable performance in terms of time, cost and quality
* Organise and secure the transfer of technology and offsets (incoming or outgoing)
* Develop the skills of your team in light of the challenges faced, identify and manage skills and development needs on the team (critical skills and versatility)
* Promote and implement LEAN transformation approach (Gemba, FCTL, Andon & KAIZEN)
* Ensure rigorous application of standards and generate ideas for continuous improvement
* Manage performance through a standardised management process Short Interval Management (SIM) integrated into the site management process
YOUR EXPERIENCE
To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
* Knowledge of production, repair and supply chain processes
* Knowledge of products and their manufacturing or repair processes
* Knowledge of industrial management control and the Multi Year Budget (MYB) process
* Knowledge of industrialisation roles, methods and product support
* Basic knowledge of stock management and flow management methodologies
* Implementation of continuous improvement and management tools (Lean: flow management, conducting Gemba Walks, Compass Room, Plan Do Check Act (PDCA), TPM)
* Practice of analytical and problem-solving techniques
* Knowledge of production tools, industrial IT & use of dashboards (analysis, decision support)
