Sales Executive – Solar & Energy Efficiency
Full-Time | Mount Eliza Office-Based
We are seeking a high-performing Sales Executive to join our growing solar and energy efficiency team. This is a hands-on, outbound sales role suited to someone who thrives on results, builds strong client relationships, and actively drives business growth while taking ownership of customer outcomes.
About the Role
You will engage and convert small, medium, and larger clients through proactive outbound sales activity, clearly explaining solar rebate and energy efficiency opportunities. You will guide prospects through the sales process while building trusted relationships that support long-term account growth.
This role plays a key leadership role in ensuring continuity between sales and customer service, working closely with the Customer Service Team Leader and Operations to ensure customers are progressing as expected, timelines are met, and service quality remains high. You will take accountability for your customers post-sale, supporting smooth delivery through proactive communication and follow-up.
You will also contribute to lead generation initiatives, campaigns, and market-facing activities to support growth in certificate volumes, market share, and brand visibility.
This role is focused on conversion, performance, and measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively with the Customer Service Team Leader to ensure customers are on track and delivery milestones are met
* Convert new leads through outbound sales activity, campaigns, and referrals
* Develop and support sales strategies and initiatives to produce new accounts
* Attend roadshows, expos, and industry events to generate quality leads and clients
* Engage, convert, and manage small, medium, and larger client accounts
* Drive growth in certificate volumes and overall sales performance
* Manage opportunities through to a structured process/handover
* Work collaboratively with the Customer Service Team Leader to ensure customers are on track and delivery milestones are met
* Conduct follow-ups and ongoing check-ins to support continuity of service and quality outcomes
* Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting
About You
* Proven experience in outbound sales, or a performance-driven sales role
* Confident communicator with strong relationship-building and closing skills
* Results-focused, resilient, and commercially minded
* Ability to lead through influence and take ownership of customer outcomes overall
* Experience in solar, energy efficiency, rebates, or incentive-based industries is highly regarded
