Job Title: Patient Services Assistant
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Services Assistant. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing timely, efficient, and effective catering, cleaning, and laundry services within the health unit.
* Assisting with general and special cleaning components of wards, resident and patient care areas, doctors' accommodation, and other departments within the Health Unit.
* Participating in ongoing job rotation through multi-skill arrangements such as catering assistant duties, delivery, collection, and disposal of linen and refuse.
* Working independently with minimal supervision and using initiative and judgment in day-to-day execution of the position.
Requirements:
* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with all staff, patients, visitors, and clients while exercising courtesy and tact.
* Previous experience in providing a catering service or in cleaning in a commercial or health environment is desirable.
* Independent and able to operate autonomously with minimal supervision.
