Reporting to the Manager Capital Works Planning & Delivery, the Head of Building Projects is responsible for strategically leading and managing the team to deliver Council's capital works programs including construction, buildings and community facilities. In leading the team, the Head of Building Projects will be responsible for fostering a positive, inclusive, safety first workplace culture and a high performing team that delivers service excellence to the community and who works collaboratively with both operational and strategic teams within Council.
This is an exciting time to join Moreland City Council and to lead noteworthy capital works projects such as sports and recreational facilities, libraries, culture and art venues upgrades and early years expansions. This role will effectively consult and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the projects positively impact the amenity and liveability of Moreland through high quality, good value and environmentally and financially sustainable outcomes for both Council and for the community.
