Perigon have partnered with a leading international law firm in their search for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant. This is a hands‑on role responsible for day‑to‑day accounting operations, month‑end reporting, and delivering end-to‑end partner services.
About the role:
* Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and general ledger maintenance.
* Complete month-end close process including monthly P&L reviews, variance analysis, and commentary against budget.
* Provide financial information and analysis to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Process monthly and quarterly partner‑related transactions.
* Support year-end profit distribution and tax‑related processes, including preparing annual partner tax packs statements, draw and top up statements, and dividend entitlements calculations.
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting efficiency.
About you:
* Previous experience working in the legal industry is highly desirable.
* CA or CPA qualified, with relevant experience – ideally within a large professional services firm.
* Sound technical background covering financial accounting with a good understanding of management accounting, cash flow, budgeting and forecasting.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engagement effectively with senior stakeholders.
* Confident in coordinating workflows and prioritising tasks across the finance function.
