Job Overview:
As an Electrical Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading electrical operations on our construction sites. Your responsibilities will include supervising and directing electrical, instrumentation, and controls teams to ensure projects are completed on time.
* Supervise and direct electrical operations, including ensuring compliance with design specifications, environmental safety regulations, and relevant guidelines
* Provide technical and administrative direction to subordinate field staff
* Determine workforce requirements and coordinate established operational plans
* Schedule work to be performed and review work accomplished by craft personnel
* Maintain accurate records of construction progress, craft personnel forecasts, and expenditures forecasts
You will also be responsible for implementing corporate policies and procedures within assigned operations, ensuring compliance with local safety codes, requirements, and standards.
Requirements:
* Educational background in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (at least 10 years)
* Proven track record in development of execution and construction scopes of work and strategies
* Familiarity with QLD mining Act and Regulations, as well as Communication, Controls, and Hazardous Areas
* Experience in EPC(M) contract management, construction, fabrication, and logistics activities
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
