Night Shift Production 2IC – Plastic Bottle Manufacturing
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Night Shift 2IC to join a busy plastic bottle manufacturing facility. This is a casual ongoing position working Monday to Friday, supporting the Supervisor and helping oversee a small production team on night shift.
Shift Details
* Monday to Friday
* 11:50pm – 7:36am
* Must be available to work 5 nights per week
* Casual ongoing role with consistent hours
* Training will be completed on day shift for 1–2 weeks prior to commencing nights
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Supervisor with nightly production operations
* Assist with leading and overseeing a small production team
* Ensure production targets and quality standards are met
* Troubleshoot basic production and operational issues
* Complete production reporting and data entry
* Assist with staff support, workflow coordination, and training
* Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
About You
* Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments
* Leadership or team-leading experience highly regarded
* Experience within plastics or bottle manufacturing advantageous
* General understanding of Microsoft Excel
* Confident using computers and able to quickly learn new systems
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Reliable with a strong work ethic and ability to commit to night shift work
