KDV Sports Pty Ltd is seeking a capable Conference and Event Organiser to manage and deliver high-quality events across its facilities, with integration into its European food distribution operations in Australia. You will coordinate a broad range of events including corporate functions, sporting events, private celebrations and industry activations linked to European food products.
This role involves end-to-end event management with a strong focus on logistics, supplier coordination and client outcomes. This role suits a professional who can operate across events and food-focused environments, delivering structured, high-quality outcomes in a multi-faceted business. Benefits Task & responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate and deliver conferences, functions and events from concept through to completion
* Liaise with clients to define event objectives, budgets and operational requirements
* Coordinate venues, suppliers, catering and event logistics
* Work closely with the European food distribution division to incorporate product showcases, tastings and promotional events
* Prepare detailed run sheets, timelines and operational plans
* Oversee on-site event execution ensuring consistency and quality
* Manage event budgets and cost controls
* Support promotional activities and brand activations tied to distributed food products
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards Qualification & experience
* Minimum 3 years relevant work experience as a Conference and Event Organiser or similar role
* Relevant qualification in Event Management, Hospitality, Business or related field, or equivalent industry experience
* Experience coordinating food-related events or product activations is advantageous
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* High attention to detail and problem-solving capability
