About The Role
At Western NSW Local Health District, this role enables you to bring your purpose to life, broaden your scope and fast track your career. As a Radiographer, you will be integral to achieving our goal of healthier rural people and thriving communities.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment together with a team that excels under pressure and prides itself on exceeding the high standard of care set by the Western NSW Local Health District. This is a key Medical Imaging Team supporting patients within the region and is a crucial emergency service for the community.
Medical Imaging is an independent business unit operating in WNSWLHD and supplying diagnostic imaging services to many facilities across WNSW. This role will primarily be required to cover imaging services within Lachlan Health Service - Forbes Hospital and potentially some commutable satellite sites on an ad-hoc basis. Forbes Hospital Medical Imaging offer radiological services to the emergency and inpatients of Forbes Hospital as well as outpatients of Forbes and surrounding communities. The department operates weekday shifts, with an on-call service provided overnight and on weekends.
There will be an expectation that the successful applicant will participate in the on-call roster including weekends covering general x-ray, CT and mobile x-ray.
