About the Role:
This is a full-time position, with a range of flexible working options including casual, part-time, and full-time opportunities. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play an important role in supporting residents with their daily living, social, and emotional needs, delivering care that promotes dignity, respect, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver personal care including assistance with hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility
* SUPPORT RESIDENTS' INDEPENDENCE and participation in meaningful daily activities, promoting dignity and choice
* Assist with medication administration in accordance with policies and procedures
* Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with nursing, allied health, and management personnel
* Contribute to infection prevention and workplace health and safety practices
* Support mealtime activities to ensure nutritional needs are met
* Foster a respectful environment that upholds the rights of residents
* Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to work across different sites and shifts, supporting continuity of care
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care
* Experience working in aged care as a carer
* Ability to relate to elderly customers with empathy and collaborate effectively with health professionals, service providers, and case managers
