The Opportunity
Join a leading ASX-listed property group as an Accountant, stepping into a hands-on role that blends core financial reporting with commercial exposure. Sitting within a high-performing team, you'll take ownership of month-end while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement across a growing portfolio.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong, inquisitive accountant looking to deepen their experience in a dynamic business and gain exposure to acquisitions, ERP upgrades, and cross-functional projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver accurate month-end close, including journals and reconciliations
* Prepare monthly management reports and assist with P&L and variance analysis
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the asset base
* Assist with quarterly and annual reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
* Handle BAS, GST, and broader tax compliance tasks
* Liaise with auditors and assist with year-end statutory reporting
* Partner with property and asset managers to ensure reporting accuracy
* Contribute to systems improvements and project initiatives including acquisitions and ERP enhancement
What You Bring
* CA/CPA qualified is required
* BIG 4 First Mover Or Mid-Tier Accounting Experience with over 4 years experience - preference in Funds/FS/Property
* Solid understanding of month-end, tax, and reporting processes
* Strong communication skills with a commercial mindset
* Improved a process in a business and can wear many hats
* Curious, collaborative, and keen to grow in a fast-paced environment
