As a Judicial Personal Assistant, you are an important contributor to the support of our Tribunals Members and other Judicial Officers.

Thanks to your impressive organisational skills and impeccable spelling and grammar, you, together with colleagues, will provide efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to the Tribunal Members and other Judicial Officers.

With your demonstrated interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail, you are confident working alone, as well as being part of a team, while effectively prioritising your workflow so you can tackle duties such as typing up judgements, keeping records, organising appointments, arranging travel and coordinating meetings with ease.

You will demonstrate the highest level of integrity and have the ability to deal professionally with matters of a highly sensitive and confidential nature.

Additional Requirements Include

* An accurate audio-typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
* A high standard of written English (comprehension, punctuation, spelling and grammar).
* Composure under pressure and being adaptable.

Your goal will be to maximise the Judges' ability to carry out their Judicial and extra Judicial responsibilities effectively.

We're looking to fill 1 Fulltime permanent position.

To Be Successful, You Will Need To Be

* Resilient – there are times when working in the courts, you will be working on sensitive cases and sometimes at high volume
* Detail orientated and observant – the court has many different processes and case information needs to be accurate
* Self-aware – you'll understand our customers and will be confident working across a range of situations
* Multi-task – you'll understand that some of our processes are repetitive, but you'll be able to manage conflicting priorities and move from one task to another quickly
* Willing to learn – legislation and processes in the courts is always changing and you will be able to adapt and respond to feedback
* Able to self-manage and work independently – you must be able to stay on task in order to complete tasks in both a timely manner and to a high standard.
* A team player – as a Personal Assistant you will be working closely with the case managers in the court registry. It is important to foster a good working relationship with the case management team and collaborate when needed.

Utu ā-tau/Salary

The appointing salary for this position will be between $60,729 and $77,043 based on skills and experience.
