The Opportunity As a Level 1 Support Engineer, you'll be the first point of contact for all IT support needs across Swyftx. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our team has the tools and support they need to succeed, all while embodying our values of Growth Mindset, Act Securely, Take Ownership, Engage, and Be Proactive.

What You'll Be Doing
* Providing outstanding IT support to all Swyftx team members via phone, email, and in person.
* Monitoring and resolving Level 1 IT help desk requests, including password resets, network troubleshooting, and hardware/software issues.
* Liaising with team members to gather information and achieve first-point-of-contact resolution whenever possible.
* Adhering to internal SLAs, escalating requests to Level 2 or external vendors when necessary.
* Setting up workstations (Windows and Mac) and hardware for new and existing team members, facilitating a seamless onboarding experience.
* Supporting offboarding processes by disabling accounts, removing access, and managing IT asset returns.
* Assisting with the purchasing and management of IT assets, including ordering new stock and maintaining asset registers.
* Helping to roll out new software and systems that enhance our ways of working.
* Contributing to the creation of departmental systems and processes to build IT support capabilities.
* Gathering end-user feedback and collaborating with senior IT team members on improvements.
* Providing feedback to R&D and Security Teams regarding system errors, bugs, and fixes.
* Adhering to security and confidentiality best practices in all aspects of IT support.
What You'll Bring
* Experience: Previous experience in a similar fast-paced, service-oriented IT support role, ideally as a Level 1 Support Engineer.
* Customer Service Skills:
* Technical Understanding: An understanding of business processes, technology systems, and cloud-based software.
* Work Ethic: Ability to work effectively under pressure, utilising initiative, and demonstrating a self-motivated, energetic, and customer-focused approach.
* Communication: Confidence in articulating ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Organisation: Notable time management skills and experience working towards deadlines and within set SLAs.
* Teamwork: Excellent team-working capabilities.
* Integrity: High standards of personal security and integrity.
