This is not a desk job. This is a leadership role at the heart of a busy, multidisciplinary health hub, including Dental, Medical, Physiotherapy and Podiatry. Where performance, people and patient experience all matter equally.
GMHBA is looking for a strong, empathetic, commercially-savvy Location Manager to lead our Belmont Hub and help shape the future of community healthcare.
Why this role matters
You'll be the operational engine of the hub - setting direction, lifting performance, and creating an environment where clinicians and teams can do their best work, every day.
You'll own the day-to-day, drive growth, lead a large team, and make sure patients walk away feeling genuinely cared for.
What you'll be doing
* Owning the end-to-end performance of the Belmont Hub
* Leading, coaching and inspiring a large multidisciplinary team
* Balancing commercial outcomes with exceptional patient experience
* Keeping operations running smoothly - staffing, systems, standards, compliance
* Driving growth, efficiency and continuous improvement
* Managing budgets, margins and P&L performance
* Being the calm, capable leader when things get complex
* Championing GMHBA's values, culture and customer-first mindset
This role is for you if you...
* Have led a complex healthcare or medical setting and loved the challenge
* Know how to run a tight operation without losing the human touch
* Are comfortable managing 30+ staff, performance metrics and change
* Bring a strong commercial mindset and natural leadership presence
* Communicate with clarity, confidence and empathy
* Thrive when you're trusted to lead, not micromanaged
What you'll bring
* 8+ years' leadership experience in healthcare or a similar complex environment
* Proven success delivering growth and high performance
* You must be systems savvy, with high to advanced software, excel and reporting skills to be able to operate and understand multiple practice management systems and software programs.
* Strong financial, operational and people leadership capabilityConfidence using practice management systems and digital tools
* VCE or equivalent (practice management qualifications highly regarded)
