The Australian Hearing Hub is a unique collaborative initiative led by Macquarie University, bringing together world-leading organisations across academia, industry, government, and community to advance research, education, clinical practice, and innovation in hearing health, including Cochlear, the Federal Government's Hearing Australia and National Acoustic Laboratories. In this role, you'll work closely with the AHH Academic Director and a diverse network of member organisations and partners, ensuring the Hub's strategic vision translates into real-world impact.**About the Role**Reporting to the Academic Director, the AHH Coordinator supports the governance, planning, and implementation of the AHH's Strategic and Operations Plans. You will coordinate across member organisations, strategic working groups, and internal university stakeholders, while promoting inclusive practices and maintaining high-quality operations.**Key responsibilities include:*** Supporting the Academic Director in governance, strategic planning, and operational delivery, including monitoring key performance indicators and contributing to quarterly reviews and the annual impact report.* Coordinating meetings, reporting, and communications for the AHH Members Committee and strategic working groups.* Facilitating collaboration across member organisations — including universities, clinical partners, and community groups — and promoting the inclusion of individuals with lived experience in decision-making processes.* Managing operational logistics such as scheduling, documentation, stakeholder liaison, and maintaining records and databases to support transparency and accountability.* Supporting budget management by coordinating reporting, monitoring expenditure, and managing partner payments in line with Macquarie University financial policies and procedures.* Developing and managing the AHH communications strategy, including online platforms, and liaising with Macquarie University Marketing and Communications teams.* Overseeing the coordination and organisation of events, conducting post-event evaluations, and providing recommendations for improvement.The Australian Hearing Hub (AHH) is a collaborative initiative led by Macquarie University within the DVC Medicine and Health portfolio. The Hub brings together world-leading hearing and health organisations to advance research, education, clinical practice, and innovation in hearing health. It fosters interdisciplinary collaboration across academia, industry, government, and community sectors to improve outcomes for people who are deaf or hard-of-hearing.**About You**You are a proactive, highly organised professional who excels at building collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholder groups. You bring strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to inclusive practices.
