About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and talented chefs who strives in exceeding guests expectations and wants to join a team that priorities diversity, inclusion in a professional and fun working environment
As a Commis Chef in our Banquets Kitchen, you will be responsible to prepare consistent, high quality food products in line with Hyatt Standards.
Some of the responsibilities include
* Assisting in preparation of ingredients
* Follow recipes and ensure consistency in food preparation for large-scale banquet events.
* To maintain the assigned station / section in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
* Cook and assemble dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.
Qualifications
A successful candidate will have:
* Minimum 1 years work experience
* Experience in luxury international brands, highly regarded
* Qualification in Commercial Cookery
* Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
* A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast paced customer service environment
