Global Cyber Security company seeks a skilled Software Test Engineer with excellent Java skills and Playwright to work on complex UI, API, Back-End Automated Testing initiatives. 1 year Renewable Contract. Will work on cutting-edge Automation Testing End-To- End solutions in a robust Java DevOps Docker/Kubernetes) environment. Must have top Java coding skills. $800 Daily. 1 year assignment. Mostly WFH. Must be based in Sydney. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and execute feature test, end to end test, and regression test for API and UI. Maintain automation testing framework; Integrate automation test into CI/CD pipelines and monitor daily regression test result. Log, track and verify software defects; reproduce issues and validate fixes. Collaborate with QA, Devs and PO to develop test strategies and plans. Execute deployment test, compatibility test and failover test according to product rollouts. Develop test scripts to run 2h/48h performance test periodically. Monitor and test in production during rollout. Required Skills/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT. Strong understanding of testing principles and practices. Rich experience in Back-End test. 5 years of experience in Test Automation with JAVA or other programming languages. Experience in software development and strong understanding of SDLC. Experience with Kubernetes and Docker. Strong experience with Agile development methodologies and JIRA, Confluence Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing.
