Boilermaker Role

* Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade required
* Positive attitude and passion for teamwork
* Ability to demonstrate initiative and good judgement
* Effective communication skills
* Experience in flat plate fabrication with high-quality fabrications to AS**** parts 1 and 4
* Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) experience
* Post-trade certified in AS**** certificates 7, 8G and 9 (optional)
* Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) or Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) experience (optional)
As a day-shift boilermaker at RME, you will start on a rate of up to $60,000 per year, enjoy a 9-Day Fortnight with every second Friday off, and flexible start and finish times. As a night-shift boilermaker, you will start on a rate of up to $75,000 per year (base plus 30% nightshift loading), work a 4-day week with every Friday night off, and receive additional benefits including new work boots and uniforms, overtime opportunities, and participation in company events.
Boilermakers are skilled tradespeople who install, maintain, and repair boilers and other large containers that hold liquids and gases. The job requires a combination of physical labor, problem-solving, and attention to detail. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
