The Opportunity
Our client are looking to hire a Senior Payroll Governance Specialist to the business who will be the key point of contact within the payroll team for payroll escalations and complex queries.
Job Responsibilities
* Drive payroll governance and compliance to support identification and resolution of payroll risks and issues, supporting the delivery of on-time, accurate pay outcomes.
* Process payroll reconciliations, including but not limited to, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, and audit requirements.
* Working closely with the Payroll Manager to review payroll processes and provide input/recommendations for continuous improvement
* Oversee month end and year end payroll processes
Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in payroll at a senior level
* High level of attention to detail
* Effective time management & organisational skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment
