Laboratory Technician – Asbestos Analysis | Sydney / NSW Regional Travel
An established environmental consultancy with a reputation for technical excellence and trusted service delivery is looking to grow its NSW team.
This is a great opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join a NATA-accredited laboratory, working on asbestos analysis for high-profile Tier 1 projects.
About the Role
You'll join a skilled and supportive team providing high-quality consulting services across hazardous materials, occupational hygiene, and environmental science. Your primary focus will be on the analysis of naturally occurring asbestos, contributing to some of the country's most significant infrastructure projects: SNOWY 2.0. There will also be some acid sulphate soil analysis (training provided).
The role will be based out of Sydney, with drive in / drive out to a regional site. It will be a 2 weeks on, one week off rotation.
What We're Looking For
* At least 2 years' experience as a specialist asbestos analyst.
* Open to applicants with very good microscopy skills.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
