About the Role:
Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and be an integral part of a dynamic team?
Barcaldine Regional Council is looking for a hardworking individual to join our Aramac Construction Team as a Roller Operator for a fixed term of 6-months.
The successful applicant will be required to have a minimum of 2 years' experience operating plant, with a focus on roller operation.
Location: This position is based in Aramac with Regional work and travel as required.
Classification Level: Level 5 of the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream B) Award - State 2017 and the Barcaldine Regional Council Certified Agreement 2025.
Wage: $70,474.56 per annum + Superannuation (up to 12%) and relevant approved allowances.
Payment of Wages: Council employees are paid fortnightly.
Hours of work: 76 hours over 9 days with a rostered day off (RDO) every fortnight.
Leave: Five (5) weeks annual leave per annum + 17.5% loading. Fifteen (15) days Personal Leave (sick leave) per annum.

What You'll Need:
